Do you feel that your family needs to be spending some quality time? Are you planning for a vacation for your family? If you are, then this would be the perfect opportunity to spending some quality time with your spouse and children. When you will be planning a family vacation do not make the decisions yourself. It is a family vacation so it is best to involve all the members of the family even on the planning stage. Have a talk with the family and discuss the places that you would want to be your destination. Would you be traveling within the country or outside of the country? Here, you try to reach a compromise so that everybody will enjoy and have a great time in your chosen vacation spot. When you have made the decision already, consider if you will be able to work around your budget. Would it be enough for accommodation, transportation, food and other expenses? Try checking also the schedules of the people. Ensure that during your leisure trip your kids will have no school and you will be able to obtain a leave of absence from work. Decide on what mode of transportation you will be using. Of course if it is outside the country you have no choice but to take the plane. But if you will just be traveling within the country would you consider driving there yourself, taking public transportation perhaps like the bus or the train, or better yet taking a ferry boat if you need to cross to another island. Find more about the place that you would be visiting. Get information on the weather or climate especially if you will be traveling abroad so that you will be prepared on what clothes to bring. When packing make a check list to ensure that you wouldn’t leave anything important. Store separately important documents like your passports and secure your money and valuable items. Inform your neighbors of your whereabouts or better yet just inform them that you won’t be around for a period of time since you will be going on a vacation. Make certain that you lock your house to keep it secure and that all household equipments and appliances are turned off. Nothing beats planning if you want to give your family one of the best family vacations. For me though what is more important is that you can relax, enjoy and have a great time. In the end, what matters most is the time you spend with the people close to your heart.

Golfing is a great thing for people of all ages. Women are now golfing more and more, and it is a good sport to teach your kids. If you are thinking about taking a golf vacation in Myrtle Beach, there are tons of golf lessons available for kids. There are also other activities in the area ensuring that your family will have the time of their lives. There are museums; there is the beach, restaurants, comedy clubs, and other fun events. Golfing in Myrtle Beach is a great way to spend a great golf vacation with your entire family.Junior golfers need to be encouraged both by their parents and by the golf academy or golf pro they take golf lessons from. Its important that golf is shown as an exciting and enjoyable pass time and the rewards of hitting a fantastic drive are as great as scoring a goal on the football pitch, but your kids need to know this.
If you are a parent, it is your first job to make golf accessible to your child. Kids will probably lose interest if they have to sit in a car for 40 minutes before a lesson. There’s no excuse for not getting your child to a course or academy, we are all surrounded by golf (you just have to open your eyes a bit). Make sure you find them somewhere local, somewhere you can get them to in a few minutes. If it is somewhere local you’ll be more willing to take them for lessons or to play on a regular basis. Remember, though, if taking children to driving ranges or golf courses, try to take them when they are less busy. Trying to learn in front of large crowds, or being pressured by other golfers to “hurry up” can quickly put your child off and you’ll have trouble getting them to pick up a club again.
Obviously one of the biggest problems with getting kids involved in golf is they can’t just pick up a club and a ball and whack it around in the street (or if they did I’m sure the neighbors would have a few things to say). Do not buy a practice net for your back garden. Children learn by imitation, so watching others play golf is a great way for them to improve. Let them watch a PGA event on the television. Its amazing how a child’s interest is sparked when they see the pro’s in action. The real trick is to help and encourage your child without pushing them and applying pressure. The main focus for junior golf is to keep it fun and interesting anyway you can. If your child enjoys playing golf, they will naturally want to develop their skills further.

Making various bird house crafts is not just easy, it is also fun and enjoyable as well. Nothing beats the feeling of creating and finishing a bird house and being able to actually see birds enjoy and experience the bird house you have made.
Believe it or not, it is really easy making a bird house craft. The following are basic instructions to make a bird house craft nest using easily available materials such as a simple strawberry basket.
The needed materials are the following, some basic strawberry baskets, a yarn or some materials intended for scrap, some pieces of shredded paper.
How to do a bird house craft nest
Basically, get the fabric scraps or the yarn and carefully weave the yarn slowly through the strawberry basket holes.
The only limit is your own imagination. As much as possible, be as free as you wish to be. It is also okay to experiment.
Once the strawberry basket weaving has been completed, try to fill the strawberry basket with some pieces of shredded paper. Also, be as free to choose other scrap materials.
How to do a bird house craft nest that is edible
And you thought you could not be as creative as you could be, here comes an instruction on how to build a bird house craft nest that could just as be edible as it is fun to look at and make. It is very tasty too.
The fact of the matter is that kids could easily do this bird house craft nest. It is a very fun project during the season of spring.
Feel free to invite friends and extra family members to make the project as memorable and fun as it could possibly be.
Needed materials for bird house craft nests The materials you would need are chow noodles mien, some chocolate chip or a chocolate brick, some jelly beans, chocolate egg coated candies, peanut butter, small marshmallow chicks, wax paper, paper colored plates.
Now what?
What you need to do is place the wax square papers onto the paper colored plates individually.
The chow mien noodles need to be placed in a bowl that is large. If you are to use chocolate bricks, break these bricks into smaller pieces. Then, melt the chocolate piece chips in a microwave. You could also heat these chips over the stove using low heat.
Slowly but surely melt the pour the melted chocolate chips over the noodles chow mien. Then, mix them all together and coat. Get kids to participate and enjoy themselves too
It is now time to place the chocolate mounds as well as the noodles chow mien mixture onto the paper colored plates (which are still over the wax paper).
It is more fun if you let kids form the chocolate mixtures themselves and transform them into bird house craft nests.
Take note though that the chocolate may still be hot. As much as possible, wait until the chocolate has been cooled enough, however do not wait far too long as the chocolate ay harden.
How about the peanut butter?
Believe it or not, you could also use peanut butter as a good adhesive. Use it to b eable to glue the jelly beans down as well as the chocolate coated candy eggs which are inside the cavity nests.
Meanwhile, the marshmallow chicks could also be glues onto the nest’s edge or inside the bird house craft nest.
All in all, making bird house crafts could be tiring yet the benefits are tremendous. It could also serve as unique bonding moments for family and friends while at the same time making creative projects that you could sell or give out to people, bird lovers they may be or not.

At the mention of the word ‘camping’, why do children and even adults get excited and chomp at the bit to be off? For an urbanite, it affords a change from the restriction imposed by city life. The out of doors fills you with a sense of freedom under the open skies. The giving up of creature comforts doesn’t seem to matter when adventure beckons. The common worry is how to keep the children occupied. Can their favourite TV channel or computer game be compensated for? Children are adaptable and you will find that they bring a great deal of enjoyment to the outing. With a little ingenuity, you can make it an experience they’ll never forget.
Children can never resist water. It doesn’t matter if the body of water is a small stream or a large lake, as long as you can find a convenient spot to paddle or swim in. They can spend hours splashing about, revelling in every minute of it. The pleasant change from the artificial pools of the city and the novelty of the natural surroundings add to their joy. First, check if the water is safe. Camping books usually supply adequate information suggesting safe pools and warning against the dangerous ones. Don’t let the children swim without supervision, and it’s safer not to dive.
You can’t ask for a better way to take in the scenery than from a bike. Walking could be tough going and hot work as well. Hit the bike trail with a map. Take stock of your bearings and ride together. You don’t want anyone getting lost! Explore the surroundings in a leisurely manner.
Prepare yourself by reading up on the fauna and flora of the region. Campsites usually have pamphlets on the birds and animals you are likely to spot. Have fun looking for them. Make a game of it. Vie with each other and total up the number of animals each one has seen. Compare the nocturnal fauna to the ones you’ve observed during the day. See that the children don’t get carried away and get too close to the animals. Take care not to agitate the latter.
When you play games, don’t get so noisy as to disturb the quiet that the animals are used to. Treat yourself to outdoor games. Find a clearing, without obstructions, (you don’t want accidents to spoil your holiday). Play good old tag or run races. Tug-of-war is another great idea.
The children’s love of going in search of things can be exploited with the game of scavenger hunt. This physical activity is a great way to help the kids get exercise. Instruct them to avoid plants like the sumac, oak and poison ivy, whose prickles are harmful.
An activity that can be clubbed with the scavenger hunt is navigation. Show them how a compass works and give them a few tips on map reading as you go through the forest. It will stimulate their spirit of adventure.
Round off an exciting day with a campfire. This is entertainment and togetherness time! In the campfire’s warmth, sing and narrate stories. Some may have some eerie ones to narrate as well. Word games and riddles are fun too while toasting marshmallows and chomping on goodies like hotdogs.
Teach the children basic astronomy. There’s nothing more awe inspiring than to lie on the grass and gaze at the stars dotting that vast expanse of sky. Point out the planets and constellations you are familiar with. Wish on a shooting star and admire the grandness of the firmament.
Don’t let a sudden downpour dispirit you. Weather is unpredictable in some places more than in others. Take it in your stride and use the rain to your advantage. Take the opportunity of doing what you’ve always wanted to do–play in the rain. However, if there’s thunder and lightning, it’s better to stay indoors.
Above all, unwind. Give yourself up to nature. Enjoy the tranquility of your surroundings. How often do you get the opportunity? Feel the tension of the city leave you. Don’t carry any appliances with you. Enjoy quality time with your family and the friends you’ve come camping with.
These are just a few suggestions of how to keep you and the children occupied when out camping. The possibilities are endless. With a little imagination, you can come up with many more ideas. Go out and have stupendous fun!
